We offer classes in Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Hip-Hop, Acro, and Contemporary. Dancers ages 3 through adults are welcome to take classes. Studio B. offers classes for the novice to the competitor.

AcroHop ages 5-8

Miss Amber

This class will explore movement using a combination of gymnastic  and hip hop movements. We will use mats in addition to other acro equipment during the gymnastics portion of class and will explore creative movements relating them to hip hop dance. Please wear comfortable/athletic clothing. Barefoot is recommended. 

Tuesdays

Int/Adv Acro for Dancers ages 12+

This class is designed for dancers who are ready to advance their acro skills. Students will work on progressions that emphasize strength, flexibility, coordination, and technique. Each class incorporates drills, conditioning, and spotting to help dancers safely build the foundation needed to achieve acro skills. Dancers should have a solid and unassisted front and back walkover before enrolling.

Creative Movement ages 2-3

Miss Catie

An introductory dance class for 2 and 3 year olds designed to allow children to discover fundamental body movements and directional commands necessary to set the foundation for beginning ballet technique. We explore body movements such as up and down and side to side in creative movement we begin exploring rhythms and beats in music, as well as introduce basic ballet vocabulary. Props are often used along with dance-focused games in order to ignite an early love for dance in your little one!

Beginning Tap and Ballet ages 4-5

This is a great class to introduce your dancer to the fundamentals of Ballet and Tap dance. This class is designed to allow children to discover the skills necessary to set the foundation for beginning dance technique.

Progressive Ballet Technique ages 11+

Progressive Ballet Technique (PBT) is a specialized strength and conditioning program designed to support and enhance a dancer’s technical training. This class focuses on building core stability, proper alignment, muscle memory, and overall body awareness using equipment such as stability balls, resistance bands, and targeted exercises.

Taught by a certified PBT instructor, this method helps dancers understand the mechanics behind ballet technique, improving balance, control, flexibility, and injury prevention. PBT is beneficial for dancers of all levels and styles, as it reinforces correct movement patterns in a safe, low-impact environment—helping dancers translate strength and awareness directly into their technique classes and performance.

Stretch & Strength ages 8+

Elevate your leaps and extensions with our dynamic stretching class, designed to enhance mobility, strength, and flexibility. You'll work through progressions that target key skills such as needles, bow and arrows, tilts, développés, and battements. Our focus on safe and effective mobility and strength drills ensures you build the power and control needed for these advanced movements.

Adult Beginning Ballet

6:30-8 PM

Join us for one hour of Ballet Barre followed by 30 minutes of Centre Work. Short on time? No problem—you’re welcome to attend just the Barre portion and head out early. You have options! Drop in rate is $10 each time.

Feeling intimidated by tights and leotards? Don’t be. Our adult ballet program is designed to be comfortable, welcoming, and judgment-free. Wear what makes you feel confident while still allowing you to move safely.

Proper Attire

Ladies: Leotard, tights, skirt, and ballet slippers or a tight-fitting top, leggings, and ballet slippers

Gentlemen: Tight-fitting top, basketball shorts, and ballet slippers

ACRO

These classes combine acrobatics and floor gymnastics with classical dance movements. Acro (acrobatics/tumbling) is centered on fundamental acrobatic technique to increase flexibility, strength, balance, coordination, endurance, timing, body awareness, self-discipline, and confidence. Classes focus on proper hand placement and body alignment with emphasis on the muscles and flexibility required to perform proper technique.We offer classes for elementary and middle-school aged students. Tumbling is offered for our smallest age group.

BALLET

Ballet focuses on exercises, techniques and steps of classical ballet with an emphasis on terminology and correct body alignment. Dancers will develop an aesthetic awareness of the art of classical ballet. Students will continue to build upon fundamental ballet terminology with a focus on fostering strength, flexibility, and balance. Students will learn to become more confident dancers and develop a deeper understanding of both the structure of a traditional ballet class as well as ballet culture.

CONTEMPORARY

Characterized by its versatility, Contemporary dance can be danced to any style of music and united with other dance forms to create a new style of movement. Students learn to use their bodies in a variety of ways. Technique, body alignment, and emotion are essential to establishing a mind-body connection. Contemporary dance features a wide variety of dance techniques, reflecting its melting pot nature. Students in our contemporary classes learn an expressive style of dance that incorporates many elements and styles of dance.

TAP

Tap dance uses the sound of the tap shoes hitting the floor as a percussive instrument. Tap dance sharpens reflexes and improves memory skills and coordination. Beginning classes will work toward establishing fundamental tap movements, vocabulary and will work on basic rhythms and steps that progress into fun and lively dance combinations. More advanced classes will involve more intricate rhythms and combinations. Tap dancing is a great way to develop musicality, timing and balance.

HIP-HOP

Hip-Hop is a high-energy dance form using the latest music mixed with movements that are influenced by some of today’s top video choreographers. Hip Hop is a broad collection of urban street dance styles including breaking, popping, locking, turfing, jerkin and krumping and often incorporates elements of freestlying. Classes will provide a structured method of learning various styles of movement in a fun and vibrant environment. Each class will incorporate dance combinations and routines and will encourage individual expression and personal style. 

JAZZ

Jazz dance is an exploration of style and presentation. Rooted in the rhythm of jazz music, jazz dance is a true American art form. Includes a warm-up that develops strength, flexibility, coordination, and dance techniques specific to jazz dance. Includes dynamic choreography set to popular music and encourages individual expression and development of personal style.
