Alexandra Lenz
Alexandra has over 18 years of dancing experience with 8 of them being at the pre/professional level. She has performed in several full length ballets such as the Nutcracker, Swan Lake, and Don Quixote. Alexandra has performed excerpts from Le Corsaire, Sleeping Beauty, Raymonda, Paquita, and Napoli. Alexandra enjoys choreographing her own pieces and her choreography has been selected to be performed twice. Once in the fine Arts council of St.Michael-Albertville Spring Variety Show and in an award ceremony. Lenz began her classical ballet training in Minnesota at the age of 13 all on partial or full scholarship. She was taught by professionals including Ms.Karen Paulson-Rivet, Mr.Luke Tucker, Ms. Kimberly Norberg, and Ms. Marcia Keegan while in Minnesota. In 2018 Alexandra had the privilege to train in Ballet Arizona’s Professional Training Division on partial scholarship. There she trained in Classical Ballet, Pointe, Partnering, Variations, Conditioning for dancers, Flamenco, Modern, and Horton. There she had the privilege to be taught under many talented and prestigious professionals such as Amber Lewis, David Krensing, Catherine Hader, Fabiola Ambrosio, Fabiana Poulis, Daniel Baudendistel, Nayon Iovino, Yumi La Rosa, and Jordan Daniels. While there Alexandra had the opportunity of participating in their full-length ballets of Swan Lake and Don Quixote. During her dance career she also had the opportunity to have instruction by the highly respected ballet mistress of the Royal Ballet, Olga Evreinoff to stage the production and coach the dancers in Don Quixote and took master classes with Carol Roderick and Natalya Lushina Zeiger. Instructing and Teaching Experience: Alexandra comes with over 5 years experience teaching multiple classes in a variety of ages and skill levels. She likes to keep classes upbeat and fun while focusing on proper placement and alignment of the body, musicality, technique, and history of ballet.
